So many colors!

I recently confessed to my sister that I color with my nephews crayons even when they are not visiting...I did not tell her that even though I have the box of 96 crayons and the box of 120 crayons, I secretly want the Crayola 150-Count Telescoping Crayon Tower. Not so secret anymore, I suppose...

I gave up on being a fashion icon a few years ago and instead focused my energy on accessories. Shoes and bags are my faves, but I also love crazy socks. They are so fun to pick out and even more fun to wear. I've already found 15 pairs, but I'm trying to narrow it down just a bit...

I loved Freakonomics and was very excited to learn about the "freakquel", SuperFreakonomics. How can it not be awesome? The book covers topics such as:

I feel like Navin Johnson

Things are really going to start happening now! I went to the grocery store last night and found two items that are going to change my life.

Jet-Dry. I know this isn't new, but I did not realize how well it really works. It really does help your dishes become completely dry!

My other big find involves Crystal Light. I'm a big fan of the "on the go" packets because I prefer my lemonade a bit diluted. The individual packs make this pretty easy. It is so much easier than guessing how much of the round tub to add to achieve desired the ratio of water to powder. Imagine my surprise when I discovered Crystal Light's new packaging. The 2 quart servings are now available in packets similar to the individual packs! And, the whole container is kind of oval shaped instead of round. This find put a smile on my face last night when I found it at the grocery store. The cashier ringing up my purchase noticed the new packaging and thought it was pretty cool too. Ahhh...the little things that make us smile...

Not calling anyone out by name...

...but, every once in a while, I wish I had this print hanging on my wall...or even better on cards that I could just hand to people when I need peace and quiet. I wouldn't really have the nerve to hang it up or even to give them out, but a girl can dream...

Imelda wannabe

In my dream world, I have a closet full of Carrie Bradshaw worthy shoes. It is very organized and each fabulous pair is stored in individual boxes. In reality, I collect all of the shoes I've worn in a week and throw them into my closet. However, I did see some boot shapers at The Container Store and think I may actually try using them...with the hanger - not the much more organized boot box.

My office has moved...

...and I am finally done with boxes...no more packing boxes...no more unpacking boxes...no more hanging bulletin boards...phew!
