I play chess so rarely that I can't remember the names of the pieces, but this set is great - each piece is labeled in a funky graffiti style font...now, I just need to remember which way the pieces move...and, develop my strategy...
My dear friend Tanya, knowing that I love all things pumpkin, recently made a pumpkin cheesecake for my birthday...she regularly bakes, but I'm pretty sure that was a toughie...even for her...she made pumpkin bread this week and brought some of it to me and then tried to convince me that I too could make pumpkin bread. It is so easy, she said...ummmm...yes, with the help of Stonewall Kitchen, I agree. And, I don't want to sound too cocky, but I think my "baking" skills might be strong enough to attempt to "make" pumpkin spice bread pudding.

I love home fragrance diffusers, but have previously used a few that are waaay too strong...if the fragrance is too heavy, they almost smell bad. When we have cakes in my office, the person who receives the cake is tasked with cutting it. I hate this practice, because I think that should be the one time you don't have to cut a cake because - let's be honest - cutting a cake is tricky. Does she really want a tiny slice or is she just pretending to be on a diet? Should I give him an extra large slice or is he dieting?
